Nineteenthirtysix is The Oaks newest bar. Named such as the first "Tramway" bar opened in that very year. The new design reintroduces elements from the original Art Deco public bar built in the 1940’s. It has
been designed to reflect the history of the hotel and take you back to the stylish era.

The bar has elegant features with a zinc bar, leather couches and
custom made, patterned steel screens which result in a space that is classic and comfortable.

The bar is perfect for that casual catchup with friends in a sophisticated environment. You can enjoy martini's, stick drinks, a jug of Pimms and lemonade or a refreshing glass of bubbly. Our range of pizzas, mussells, salads and sides are also available from the bar so you don't have to go far to enjoy a famous Oaks meal.
